Sante Fe sculptor Somers Randolph brings big time style to his Open Oval bracelet. The satin-finished oval ornament is cast in solid sterling silver. While multiple strands of gold, silver, gunmetal and bronze colored leather give
the illusion of being wrapped around the wrist many times, actually there is an easy to grasp, over-sized spring clasp (also made of
sterling silver). Each
piece of Somers jewelry began its life as a soapstone sculpture.
Known for his larger pieces, Somers has
also spent 30 years carving in miniature. When his wife Hilary
discovered a trove of these tiny sculptures, she was inspired. They
cast selected pieces in precious metals, turning stone into silver and
gold, together creating the Somers collection. Approximate measurement of this bracelet is 6¼" in circumference. Made in America.
This piece is available in 14 karat or 18 karat gold. Please call or email us for prices if interested.
