The drusy (pronounced "dru: z") teardrop pendant of this elegant necklace sparkles like
diamonds. All of the drusy (sometimes spelled: druse, druzy or druzie) jewelry
that is so popular today are tiny quartz crystals that come from the
earth. Located in the hollowed center of geodes, their brilliant sparkle (far more brilliant than can be
captured on our camera) often resembles white sugar with dusting of cinnamon. The crystals, when dyed individually by hand, retain every bit of the brilliance they had in their natural state. Drusy jewelry is popular because it works well
for daytime and will take you into evening if you wish! The
irregular-surfaced stones are set in a polished gold plated bezel.
Approximate dimension of pendant: 3/8"W x ¾"L. The chain is 16" in length. Imported.
