Note: Brass, like silver, will tarnish with time.  This varies with climatic conditions and skin chemistry. While some people like them more with age, others can keep the finish bright by polishing lightly with extra fine steel wool (kitchen scouring pad) and water when needed.  Be sure to dry the ring thoroughly to avoid water spots. Do not use liquid brass cleaner; it can be difficult to get out of the curves.
